About the event

This webinar will showcase examples of multi-sectoral partnerships for circular economy development. It will discuss benefits and risks associated with integrative EPR schemes, B2B partnerships and social circular procurement. In scrutinizing respective partnerships and practices surrounding the circular economy, this webinar will also uncover some of the emerging ethical tensions and multidimensional rebound effects, which need to considered by policymakers, entrepreneurs and practitioners interested in transition to sustainable CE. Case studies mentioned in this webinar concern enterprises from the United Kingdom, Chile, Austria and Spain. Findings presented in this webinar were derived from research conducted by dr Małgorzata Pusz (organizer of the webinar) at the University of Hull (UK) and as part of the broader CRESTING project (Circular Economy: Sustainability Implications and Guiding Progress). This project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 765198.
